About

I am a finance professional with a mathematics background, working at the point where finance operations meet systems. I served as the finance-side key user in a company-wide workflow automation (OA) rollout — mapping approval and expense processes, consolidating requirements from finance and operations stakeholders, and coordinating user acceptance testing across departments through to adoption.

Alongside day-to-day finance work (AP/AR, reconciliation, month-end close), I build Python and AI-agent automations for recurring data collection and reporting, and I am developing towards a business analyst role in finance systems and process automation.

I'm open to Business Analyst and finance-systems opportunities. If my background fits what you're building, feel free to reach out.

Finance operations & company-wide workflow-automation implementation

  • Mapped existing approval and expense processes, identified pain points, and translated them into system requirements.
  • Represented finance in requirements discussions; consolidated stakeholder input and escalated conflicts between system workflows and policy manuals for management decision.
  • Coordinated cross-department UAT — shared defect log, follow-ups with the development team, verification of fixes.
  • Produced weekly progress reports and decision briefings for senior management on status, risks and sign-off items.
  • Day-to-day operations: AP/AR, bank reconciliation, payment runs, invoice processing, month-end close support under internal controls.

Selected Projects

Quant — Portfolio Risk Analytics

GitHub

Python toolkit that analyses an existing portfolio's risk–return structure across US equities and crypto: annualised return, volatility, Sharpe / Sortino, max drawdown, correlation matrix, weight drift and contribution attribution. Deliberately descriptive — no predictions, no signals.

Workflow & Data Automation

Agent-based pipelines that collect, format and forward recurring information updates, standardised into templates for quick review and hand-over — cutting the manual effort out of research and reporting. Includes a custom MCP search server that gives AI assistants structured retrieval over archived chat history: a reusable layer that can plug into reporting, status dashboards or knowledge-base ingestion.

Competitor Intelligence Hub

A consolidated repository of competitor products: feature matrices, positioning, pricing signals and review highlights — a structured comparison framework supporting faster product and marketing decisions.

EQ Playbook

GitHub

A bilingual (English + 中文) playbook of high-EQ phrases for everyday and workplace situations, written in natural British English — doubles as language-learning material.

Personal Knowledge Base

GitHub

A self-growing knowledge-base skeleton: ingest pipelines, agent-compiled wiki pages and provenance links back to raw sources. Framework only — content lives in a private repo.
